One Account, Many Screens?

For me it hit when I upgraded my phone and tried to continue a game I’d been playing for months. I assumed everything would just carry over, like it does with most apps now. But nope, I had to manually recover stuff, and even then some of it didn’t come back.

Yeah, I went through something similar when I tried to sync a strategy game between my phone and laptop. It technically had cloud saves, but they didn’t update properly unless you restarted the game, which is just annoying. I actually found this https://bharatflux.com/cross-platform-or-die-why-79-of-mobile-gamers-refuse-to-stay-on-one-device/ while looking into why so many games struggle with this, and it explains a lot about how player behavior has changed. People don’t sit on one device anymore, so games that don’t adapt just feel outdated. What worked for me was being more selective. I now check reviews specifically for syncing issues before downloading anything.
