Our Story
In the summer of 2013, when Peoria Girls Softball Little League (PGSLL) closed its doors, a fantastic opportunity emerged for girls' softball in the northwest valley! That's when Diamond Girls Softball Association (DGSA) was born as a vibrant non-profit organization, dedicated to player development and community spirit.
Fast forward 13 years, and DGSA has flourished into one of the Valley's premier youth fastpitch recreational softball organizations! Our amazing players and coaches thrive in our supportive environment, often advancing to club teams, high school, and even college softball, with some returning to inspire and lead our younger divisions!
What began with just 4 divisions and 14 teams has exploded into 24 teams and 2 club teams, providing over 300 youth athletes the chance to learn, grow, and enjoy the game they love! Excitingly, for Spring 2026, we’re expanding even further from in-league rec play to offering skills clinics, level B/C club tournaments, opportunity to play on club teams, and fan gear!
